The European Association of Animation Film has announced the 15 nominees for Cartoon Tributes 2008, which seek to award outstanding contribution to the European animation industry throughout the year. The awards ceremony will be held on September 19 in Ludwigsburg, Germany, as part of Cartoon Forum 2008, the annual European rendezvous to support the co-production, financing and distribution of animation series for television and new media platforms.
France, Germany and the U.K. lead the list of nominees. The winners of each of the three categories -- Broadcaster, Distributor/Investor and Producer of the Year -- will be selected by the more than 750 participants in this year's Cartoon Forum.

The 19th edition of Cartoon Forum will be September 16-19 in Ludwigsburg, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany.
