All major European broadcasters and investors will be there: BBC, Disney, France Televisions, CANAL+, M6, MTV, Nickelodeon, RTVE, Rai, Super RTL, TF1, ZDF…
69 TV projects from 16 countries have been selected to be pitched at the coproduction forum in order to boost financing and distribution. 40 percent of the shows are also cross-media. One third are pre-school projects, while a rising number of series target young adults and adults (16 percent).
Two awards will be given during the event: the Cartoon Tributes for the Broadcaster, Investor and Producer of the year, and the Cartoon d’Or for the best European animated short film.
In addition, Toulouse and Midi-Pyrenees Region are organizing a Cartoon Festival with plenty of activities for everybody: open-air screenings, workshops and premieres.
