Cartoon Art Museum Presenting ‘Just Draw’ Workshop with Mark Badger

Five-week workshop for older teens, adults and seniors meets weekly from 7-9pm every Thursday in March in the Cartoon Art Museum’s temporary educational space in the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center.

SAN FRANCISCOSan Francisco’s Cartoon Art Museum has announced that Mark Badger, professional cartoonist, will be teaching a brand-new workshop meeting weekly throughout March 2016 for five weeks. Badger has created comics from Julius Caesar to Batman for 30 years and has produced many award-winning students in his fifteen years of teaching.

This five-week workshop is for older teens, adults and seniors and meets once a week from 7-9pm every Thursdays in March at the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, in the Cartoon Art Museum’s temporary educational space, at 275 Fifth Street, San Francisco. Mark Badger’s Just Draw promises to be a unique and fun educational experience in the mindful art of productivity for cartoonists.

Mark Badger’s Just Draw is , in Badger’s own words, "…workshop on drawing cartoons when Godzilla happens.”

The workshop will cover how to create a four-page to four hundred-page comic in just five weeks. Learn drawing, storytelling, and that ancient secret never taught in art schools, mindfulness. Mark Badger will teach how to just draw comics, from basic to complex and how to create while living the roller coaster life.
