Cartoon Art Museum to Host Alina Chau May 10

As part of its ongoing Cartoonist-in-Residence program, animation artist Alina Chau will be at the Cartoon Art Museum to discuss her work on May 10.

The Cartoon Art Museum will host artist Alina Chau on Saturday, May 10th, 2014 from 1pm to 3pm as part of its ongoing Cartoonist-in-Residence program. Visitors will be given the chance to talk to Chau, view and discuss her work. This event is free and open to the public.

Alina received her Master of Fine Arts in Animation from University of California, Los Angeles in 2001. She has produced three internationally acclaimed independent animated films, and has over ten years of production experience in the animation and gaming industries. Her recent credit is with LucasFilm on the Emmy Awards winning TV series - Star Wars - The Clone Wars, as a story artist. Her artistic career also includes gallery and museum exhibitions, book publication, and involvement in art education programming.
