Leading longform post-production company Post Logic Studios has hired marketing exec and digital intermediate producer Carrie Holecek for the newly created position of vp of business development. In her new role, Holecek will have oversight of the companys sales and marketing activities; her responsibilities will also extend to the studios digital production workflow and client relationships and services.
Holecek comes to Post Logic from Company 3 (CO3), where she was exec producer of the features department. At CO3, she oversaw all aspects of digital post from HD dailies, HD mastering and previews to DI and D-Cinema, implemented production efficiencies and developed key client relationships, while managing a large staff of employees. At CO3 Holecek was the exec producer on the digital intermediates for NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH and THE ISLAND.
Previously Holecek was director of Marketing & Sales, as well as Producer, at Technicolor. Among her DI credits were RUMOR HAS IT, MR. & MRS. SMITH, THE HITCHHIKERS GUIDE TO THE GALAXY, VALIANT, THE SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS MOVIE, FAHRENHEIT 9/11 and LOONEY TUNES: BACK IN ACTION.
Prior to that, she was a producer at EFILM, with responsibility for Core Business Marketing and Sales. She oversaw post-production for all commercials, music videos and trailers for many years, propelling EFILM to a significant position in digital film services and earning her film credits on FRIDA and PLEASANTVILLE.
