Cartoon Network's Brak from THE BRAK SHOW and Carl from AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE are teaming up for a Cartoon Network Adult Swim New Year's Eve celebration. Airing "live" from Times Square on Tuesday, December 31 from 11:00 pm-3:00 am, Adult Swim's New Year's Eve Bash will include a world premiere episode of SPACE GHOST COAST TO COAST at 12 midnight. Carl and Brak will host the four-hour marathon of Adult Swim programs from New York's Times Square, introducing episodes of original animated series like AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE, THE BRAK SHOW, SEALAB 2021, HARVEY BIRDMAN, ATTORNEY AT LAW and SPACE GHOST COAST TO COAST. The two animated icons will intermingle with the crowd, providing insightful commentary on this festive evening and at midnight, Meatwad (co-star of AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE) will be dropped, ceremonially, in Times Square, to the probable horror of all gathered. Adult Swim is Cartoon Network's successful block of late night animation for adults, currently airing on Saturday and Sunday evenings.Beginning Sunday, January 12, 2003 Adult Swim will be telecast from 11:00 pm-2:00 am five nights per week, Sunday-Thursday. The expanded block will offer the series FUTURAMA, quirky original animated series including HOME MOVIES, AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE and HARVEY BIRDMAN, ATTORNEY AT LAW, and action/anime series such as COWBOY BEBOP and INUYASHA.
