Canada. The Innovation NationMarch 30, 2004Deadline: March 30, 2004

The Government of Canada will be opening a new Embassy building in Berlin, Germany in 2004 and it is looking for films to play on three screens as visitors enter the building. Public access will be granted to the ground floor of the Embassy and people will be using a passageway through the Embassy building, called the "Northwest Passage." Part of the passage will be a set of three plasma screens, which will be used to promote an innovative and inspiring image of Canada. The films that will be selected for screening at the new Canadian Embassy in Berlin should incorporate this vision as Canada being an innovative nation. The filmmakers are free to adopt their vision of this statement. The Canadian Embassy gives cash prizes to the selected filmmakers in form of a contract. The first prize will be CA$3,000, the second prize CA$2,000 and the third prize CA$1,000. The maximal length of the film should be 10 minutes.
