Submit Your Animation, Machinima and Game Trailers to the ION Fest

The ION International Animation, Games and Film Festival will return to Los Angeles this fall and organizers are looking for submissions of animated films, machinima, game trailers, music videos, live-action short films, short documentaries, TV spots, movie trailers and films made for mobile devices such as cell phones and PDAs.
Last year’s inaugural ION Animation program was a huge success and included Chris Landreth's RYAN, which won ION's International Animation of the Year Award and went on to win the Best Animated Short Oscar. The fest also screened Shane Acker's animated short 9, which has been picked up by Tim Burton to make into a feature, and Bill Plympton's Academy Award-nominated toon short, GUARD DOG, as well as Plympton’s Los Angeles premiere of his feature, HAIR HIGH. ION also named LucasArts’ STAR WARS: KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC Game of the Year.
