The Córdoba 2001 Independent Animation Celebration is a forum of international independent animation. The aims of this event are to draw a panorama of current Argentine Animation; to ponder animation production and aesthetics in Argentina (both commercial and independent); and to disseminate new production and distribution techniques and proceedings. The festival is especially looking for Latin American animation and Film/TV/Video school animations. The event has two categories: film and video animation, and Web animation. The Celebration will also hold a seminar on "Aspects of Independent Animation," conducted by Pablo Rodríguez Jáuregui, an internationally awarded independent animator.
