4th International Short Film Festival ‘Almería en corto’

The Provincial Council of Almeria (Spain) has decided to extend the length and to increase awards of its fourth Internacional Short Film Festival ‘Almería en corto.’ The festival will distribute 51,000 euros in awards, 3,000 euros more than last year edition.
The competition is open to films from all over the world produced after Jan. 1, 2004, with 35mm or 16 mm format. All films will be viewed and selected by a selection committee, made up by a panel of industry experts and members of the festival organization team. The IV International Short Film Festival ‘Almería en corto’ will offer, among the international competition section, a national video competition, many screening blocks, seminars, a cinematographic exposition, the edition of a book, the honorary award ‘Almería, tierra de cine’ and a special cycle of cinema and sport because of the celebration of the XV Mediterranean Games in Almeria.
