San Diego Asian Film Festival 2002, San Diego, California USA.

Thursday, October 03 - Sunday, October 06, 2002.

Entry Deadline: Friday, June 07, 2002.

Attention animators! San Diego Asian Film Festival 2002 will be showcasing animated short films produced by Asian Americans in a 90-minute all-animation program. All forms of animation (traditional, stop-motion, Flash, CGI, etc) will be accepted. We will also accept films by all animators pertaining to Asian American issues and themes. For more submission guidelines and entry form, please surf to www.sdaff.org. A Best Animated Short Film Award will be awarded as well. Help us spread the word to your friends and associates who may be interested. The year 2002 will be our third year of celebrating the best in Asian American Cinema in sunny San Diego. Our goal is to give Asian American filmmakers an outlet to showcase their work in "America's Finest City," while fostering support for the independent film community. Last year, we screened over 100 films in 3.5 days with many industry celebrities in attendance. Our first ever all-animation program was a resounding success with over 23 animated shorts in our official selection. Please help us make this year a success again by submitting your animation.
