The Pixie Flix Fest was organized in 2002 after requests from gay parents and others to have something to do at Gay Day Orlando. As a result, the main focus of Pixie Flix Fest is to provide a cultural alternative to all the circuit parties for Gay Day attendees, produce an annual Film Festival as an entertaining and enriching experience for a multi-cultural audience and promote positive messages and images of the gay community.
