NPAR 2000 calls for entries
NPAR 2000 is the first international
symposium dedicated to non-photorealistic animation and rendering,
including cartoon animation systems and techniques. It takes place at the
International Animated Film Festival of Annecy, France, July 5-9, 2000 in
conjunction with ACM/SIGGRAPH and Eurographics. The symposium will bring
together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry, showcase
cutting-edge research in non-photorealistic animation and rendering systems
and techniques, and present examples of these techniques in original
computer-animated films. Papers, animated films, and student posters are
requested from all researchers and practitioners connected to
non-photorealistic animation and rendering. Paper submissions must be sent
to npar2000@emn.fr no later than Monday, November 15, 1999. Animation
submissions must be sent to npar2000@emn.fr no later than Monday, November
15, 1999. Students interested in presenting a poster should send an
extended abstract of at most two pages, in electronic form (PostScript,
PDF, or HTML), to npar2000@emn.fr no later than Wednesday, March 15, 2000.
