CON-CAN Movie Festival is an audience-interactive online film festival targeting shorts. Thirty Grand-Prix nominees will be streamed for global viewing on the audience-interactive website. One Grand Prix ($10,000) and two awards ($3,000) will be chosen by a seven-member international jury comprised of Jean-Michel Frodon (chief editor, CAHIERS DU CINEMA, France), Dennis Lim (film critic, VILLAGE VOICE, USA), Fei Zhao (DP, professor, Beijing Film Academy), Babak Payami (film director, Iran), Jukka-Pekka Laakso (director, Tampere Film Festival, Finland), Peter Millynn (pro exec, Australian Film TV & Radio School) and Shoichiro Sasaki (audio/visual creator, Japan).
All films must be independently produced, up to 20 min in length, in any language, genre, of any theme. Entry fee is free. More information can be found at www.con-can.com.
