ANIMATED SHORTS for SDAFF2003

(San Diego Asian Film Festival 2003)

Attention animators! San Diego Asian Film Festival 2003 will once again be showcasing animated short films produced by Asian Americans in a 90-minute all-animation program. All forms of animation (traditional, claymation, stop-motion, flash, CGI, etc) will be accepted for consideration. Films by all animators pertaining to Asian American issues and themes will also be considered. Only VHS preview tapes are accepted and the formats for exhibition are Beta, 16mm, and 35mm. For more submission guidelines and entryform, please surf to www.SDAFF.org. A Best Animated Short Film Award will be awarded.

The year 2003 will be SDAFF's fourth year of celebrating the best in Asian American Cinema in sunny San Diego. Last year, SDAFF screened over 110 films in 3.5 days with many industry celebrities in attendance. The all-animation program was a resounding success with over 30 animated shorts in the official selection with Lisa Yu's "Vessel Wrestling" taking the Best Animated Short Award.

Please help make SDAFF a success again by submitting your animation and spreading the word to your friends and associates who may also be interested.
