International Animation Festival ANIMANIMA 2008 will be held in Cacak, Serbia, from September 10-13, 2008. Cacak is located 145 kilometers south from the Serbian capitol of Belgrade. See information about the town and the festival at www.animanima.org.
ANIMANIMA 08 is opened for the films from all over the world with two competition categories:
1) films intended for the general public with the running time of up to 30 minutes
2) animated commercials and music videos.
There is no entry fee; use DVD (PAL) format.
Festival Awards: Golden peg bar (Grand Prix of the Festival), Silver peg bar, Bronze peg bar, and C&M Special - for the best animated commercial or music video. There are also Festival Jury's distinctions for best animation, art directing, script, music and sound and artistic achievement.
The films eligible for the ANIMANIMA 08 competition are those produced in 2007 and 2008.
