The call for entries has commenced for the PopVox Awards, a people's choice awards event for the digital media industry. Submit potentially award-winning work for a chance to launch a new or existing project.
The categories are:--Best Digital Animated Short--Best Digital VFX--Best Game (Console/PC)--Best Game (Casual)--Best Mobile (Game)--Best Mobile (Application)--Best Digital Campaign--Best User Generated/Crowd-Sourced Content Site--Best Digital Score--Best Do-Gooder Site (Social Change Initiative) --Homegrown Award (Best BC-based Venture)
Nominations are open through April 30, and content creators can submit their work at www.popvoxawards.com. The public voting period is open from May 1-12 on the PopVox website, and winners will be announced at the VIDFEST gala (www.vidfest.com) in Vancouver, Canada on May 23.
