Cake Ent. and HLT Bake Up New Cake Distribution Ltd.

Cake Entertainment and Hoek, Line & Thinker (HLT) have joined forces under a newly formed company, Cake Distribution Ltd. that will distribute HLT's current projects and joint future projects.

SKUNK FU, now in production at Cartoon Saloon for BBC and SUPER RTL, is the first title on the slate for delivery in 2007. Based on an original idea by Hyun Ho Khang and Aidan Harte, SKUNK FU! is a (52x13) animated comedy/action/adventure series for kids 6-12. Skunk is a western kid learning Kung Fu from a wise old Panda in China, so that he can help the resistance fight against the evil Black Dragon and his army of Ninja Monkeys.

Between Genevieve Dexter and myself, we can boast 30 years experience in the television business and we are determined to make these years count," said says Tom van Waveren, md of HLT. Furthermore, we both have good track records for getting strong original projects made. We know that experience will be a valuable incentive for independent producers from around the world to partner with us.

Dexter, md of Cake Ent. added, We are delighted to make this move toward expanding our existing operations and SKUNK FU! is a marvelous way to begin this mission. Building on the successes in executive production and distribution of Cake Ent. as well as on the line up of original properties from Hoek, Line and Thinker, we are confident Cake Distribution Ltd. will be a strong player in the animation industry.

Hoek, Line and Thinker (www.hoeklineandthinker.com) is the Netherlands-based company set up in 2004 and run by van Waveren. HLT has built a reputation in the animation business for developing and producing high-end original animation concepts, such as Skunk Fu, Eliot Kid and Worst Contact. HLT head van Waveren was previously president of Egmont Imagination and md of Nelvana UK.

During MIP-TV they will be at RSV11 and on the boat EPISODE ONE.
