The fifth most watched series at MIPCOM Junior 2006, SKUNK FU!, is bent on conquest of key European territories with sales by Cake Distribution to France 5, NRK and RAISAT. Outside Europe, recent sales have included a pan regional deal with Cartoon Network Asia.
"It is always key to secure broadcast exposure across the different platforms in the three key European markets to provide a strong launch platform for any series," said Genevieve Dexter, md of Cake Distribution. "Consequently, we are very proud to have CBBC, Super RTL, Canal J and France 5 as broadcast partners on SKUNK FU! in these territories. With further support from RAISAT, TG4, SVT, S4C, NRK and RTBF, we feel we have a fair chance of being noticed in Europe when we launch SKUNK FU! later this year."
SKUNK FU!, a 52x12 animation series created by Aidan Harte, is a Cartoon Saloon, Telegael and Hoek, Line & Thinker co-production for TG4 (Ireland) and Super RTL, scheduled for full delivery in autumn 2007.
