Rose Byrne and Jason Flemyng are the latest thespians to be circling Matthew Vaughn's X-MEN: FIRST CLASS. THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER got the scoop that Byrne is in talks to play Prof. X's love interest — genetic mutation expert Moira MacTaggert. ComingSoon.net reports that Flemyng, who had a small role in Vaughn's KICK-ASS, will play Nightcrawler's teleporting father Azazel.
Cast includes James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Kevin Bacon, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult and Alice Eve.
Filming is set to start in London at the end of August.
