BVHEI Appoints Jerome Le Grand SCP/Deputy GM of Europe, Middle East and Africa

Buena Vista Home Entertainment International (BVHEI) has appointed Jerome Le Grand to the newly created position of svp/deputy gm of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Le Grand's responsibilities will include the management of the following departments: Finance, Operations/ESCO, Commercial Planning and Distribution, Emerging Markets Group for the EMEA. He will also serve as business contact for the European Legal Department.

Le Grand will be working with Julie Sneddon, svp/gm of EMEA as a key partner within her new management team and will report directly to her. "I'm delighted to welcome Jerome to our team in the European Regional Office, said Julie Sneddon.

His in-depth understanding of the global home entertainment business will prove invaluable as we grow and develop the market across Europe, she continued.

Le Grand joined Disney in 1996 as a senior financial analyst at BVI. Promoted to vp in 2000, he took on the dual role of overseeing Finance and Planning for both BVI and BVHEI. In 2005, he was promoted to svp Finance, Sales Planning and Distribution for BVHEI and Finance and Sales Planning for Buena Vista International (BVI), where his revamping of the International Finance Organization has helped guide both divisions to record setting years.

Le Grand, a native of Paris, joined Disney from Andersen Consulting. He was based in France and later Spain from 1990 to 1994.
