Buster Beefs Up Creative Talent Roster

Buster signs Joseph Kiely as the company’s new Executive Creative Director for motion graphics, and Neville Burtis as Executive Creative Director of the agency’s print, outdoor and digital division.

Los Angeles, CA -- Design and animation studio Buster has beefed up its creative talent roster by naming Joseph Kiely as the company’s new Executive Creative Director for motion graphics, and Neville Burtis as Executive Creative Director of the agency’s print, outdoor and digital division, BusterINK. Both men report to Buster’s Chief Creative Officer/Executive Producer Jonas Morganstein. Brad Roth and Mark Feldstein, principals of Stun Creative, the parent company of Buster, made the announcement.

“Joseph Kiely brings his extensive experience implementing creative strategy, visual branding, and consumer & entertainment marketing and promotion expertise to Buster,” said Morganstein. “Concurrently, Neville now leads the charge at BusterINK, where he will continue to develop our core TV client base while also expanding our business into theatrical marketing. We’re delighted to welcome both of these especially talented executives to our team.”  

As Buster’s new Executive Creative Director, Joseph Kiely returns home to Los Angeles, having spent the last ten years building and leading the design team at Viewpoint Creative in Boston. Kiely joins Buster's on air design and motion graphics group, lending his strategic branding experience, and promotional acumen to all facets of the business. He brings a unique mix of design and conceptual big picture thinking to the Buster team.

While at Viewpoint, Kiely supervised high-profile brand makeovers for HBO and HGTV as well as consumer brands Staples, Lowe’s and Timberland.

Neville Burtis

Kiely began his career in the music industry, working with such iconic music brands and artists as Neil Diamond, Dwight Yoakam, The Grammy Awards, and Warner Music. He later transitioned into advertising, and while based in Chicago worked with several agencies including DDB, on behalf of consumer brands such as Dove, Whirlpool and State Farm.

Neville Burtis is now Executive Creative Director with BusterINK, the print, outdoor and digital division of creative brand agency Buster. Before joining BusterINK, Burtis co-founded the award-winning industry leader Art Machine in 1999. In 2007, Art Machine merged with Trailer Park, Inc. Burtis’ creative drive helped push Art Machine to the highest levels of film, television and video game print advertising excellence within the entertainment industry.

While with Art Machine, Burtis worked on such studio tentpole motion pictures as The Dark Knight Rises, X-Men and Star Trek, to name a few.
