Univision Interactive Media and CBS Interactive’s GameSpot are teaming on the Spanish-lingo game site, Univision.com, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. The site will host news, reviews, op-eds and videos. Some of the content will simply be translated versions of GameSpot content. GameSpot editor-in-chief Ricardo Torres will shepherd the effort.

A recent study reported Hispanics are 100% more likely than non-Hispanics to buy a videogame within the next month. Hispanics are also 15% less likely to factor in price on deciding whether or not to buy a game. Also only 30% of Hispanics rate themselves as novice gamers compared to 50% of non-Hispanics.
