Animation producer and distributor TV-Loonland has sold three preschool properties LITTLE GHOSTS (39 x 7 min), CONNIE THE COW (52 x 7 min) and HENRY'S WORLD (26 x 11 min), to public broadcaster France 5. The channel, which until recently was called La Cinquième, is recognized for being France's primary broadcaster of preschool programming and for providing its young audiences with television that promotes learning through play. LITTLE GHOSTS is a co-production between TV-Loonland and its subsidiary, UK animation studio Telemagination. Based on an award-winning series of books by French author Jacques Duquennoy, the animated series focuses on the nightly escapades of four young ghosts who live in an ancient castle without adult supervision. HENRY'S WORLD is an international co-production between TV-Loonland and AAC KIDS. The series follows Henry Wiggins, an eight-year-old boy, who has amazing powers whenever he eats his mother's mushy carrots. CONNIE THE COW is produced by Spanish-based Neptuno Films and distributed throughout Europe by TV-Loonland. France 5 plans to broadcast LITTLE GHOSTS and HENRY'S WORLD in fall 2002 and air CONNIE THE COW by the end of 2002.
