Jeffrey James Varab, the director of TUGGER: THE JEEP 4 X 4 WHO WANTED TO FLY, has been arrested in Osceola County, Florida on charges of securities fraud, reports ORLANDO SENTINEL. The charges steam from the production of the CG feature TUGGER at Varab's bankrupt Genesis production house.

The paper reports that Varab made claims about the production's viability that were false. Varab said that the film would be given away to the buyers of Jeep Grand Cherokees with DVD players installed.

Varab counters the accusations were solely concocted by screenwriter Woody Woodman and a Genesis investor who said "he was going to destroy the company and [Varab].” Varab states that during the company's bankruptcy hearing the judge said he found no wrong doing on Varab's part.
