Theater chain Cinemark has decided to not carry Universal's TOWER HEIST following the studio's decision to test the film as premium VOD offering three weeks after its theatrical release, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Cinemark is the third largest circuit in the U.S.

Universal and its parent Comcast recently announced they would offer the Brett Ratner action comedy to Comcast subscribers in the Atlanta and Portland areas for $59.99. This would come over the Thanksgiving weekend for a film that opens on Nov. 4. Ratner, who is apposed to PVOD, had no say in the decision.
