According to the Hollywood Reporter, both the writer and producer of SILENT HILL are coming back for more. Roger Avary and Samuel Hadida (Davis Films) plan to shoot the sequel next year after work on RESIDENT EVIL 4 is completed.

 2006’s SILENT HILL, based on the Konami game, told the story of a distraught woman who finds herself in a desolate town overcome by supernatural forces.  Avary is also writing a big screen adaptation of the video game RETURN TO CASTLE WOLFENSTEIN, for Davis Films.

 It is not clear whether TriStar, who released SILENT HILL, will be involved.
