According to iF MAGAZINE via COMINGSOON.NET, Sam Raimi could be lining up to direct WARCRAFT next. Raimi signed on to direct the film last July.

"At its core, WARCRAFT is a fantastic, action-packed story. I am thrilled to work with such a dynamite production team to bring this project to the big screen," he said.

Robert Rodat (SAVING PRIVATE RYAN and THE PATRIOT) is writing the script for the project.
