Saban Brands has purchased lifestyle company Paul Frank Industries, reports VARIETY. Saban will manage the business aspects of the Paul Frank Industries, while the creative side will remain at Paul Frank HQ in Costa Mesa, California. Saban plans to exploit the brand in various media, especially the iconic monkey character Julius. Estimates have the deal at close to $50 million.
