Since its founding in 2006, Rodeo FX has created, designed and produced digital visual effects featured within dozens of hit movies. Among the company’s more recent such projects are The Amazing Spider-Man, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part II, Mission: Impossible--Ghost Protocol, Underworld Awakening, Rango, Mirror Mirror, and many others.

Rodeo FX’s new Ad Division features a newly installed, state-of-the-art Autodesk Premium Suite – an online and color correction client suite located within the company’s Montreal headquarters. The suite is comprised of a Smoke for offline and online editing, a Flame for compositing, and a Lustre for color correction.

Montambeault is an award winning Creative Director and Senior Flame Artist, with extensive experience as a Compositor and as a Colorist. In the recent past, he worked as a Creative Director/Senior Flame Artist with Montréal’s Buzz Image Group, where he was involved with advertising campaigns for Coors Light, Bell, Pepsi, Cirque du Soleil and Bud Light, to name just a few. It is this experience, as well as his renowned work as a Digital Artist on numerous award-winning feature films, that makes André a multi-talented addition to Rodeo FX.

Sébastien Moreau, President/VFX Supervisor/Founder, Rodeo FX , said, “While we are perhaps more well-known for our VFX contributions to the motion picture industry, we have also produced a good number of advertising campaigns since we opened our doors six years ago. Since this is a significant growth area for us, we decided that now was the right time to ‘formalize’ our work in this arena by officially opening an Advertising Division. Having been instrumental in creating and implementing many past advertising campaigns, including those for major advertisers, ranging from Disney Studios and Disney Cruise Lines to Budweiser, from GM to British Airways, and from Mini-Cooper to Madonna, we wanted to build on our portfolio, by making further inroads into the U.S. and international advertising communities.”

“Our new Advertising Division can meet the highest creative and technological standards possible with all of the visual effects capabilities required for any significant advertising campaign,” said Touchette. “From concept to matte paintings, and from pre-vis to 3D and compositing, we can handle every creative requirement to bring our clients’ campaigns to life. We’re delighted to welcome André to our company—a man who shares a passion for visual effects by constantly evolving his creative techniques and their related technologies. We’ve designed the new Ad Division to help our clients make the best use of their time and budgets, while concurrently presenting them with the highest levels of creative expertise available.”
