Puss in Boots, M:I 4, Tintin Move Dates
Paramount has shifted several of the release dates of its big fall films. The studio has moved DreamWorks Animation's PUSS IN BOOTS up a week to Oct. 28 where it will now compete against a heavy field, which includes ANONYMOUS, IN TIME, JOHNNY ENGLISH REBORN and THE RUM DIARY.
In December, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - GHOST PROTOCOL will debut early on IMAX on Dec. 16 and then open wide on Dec. 21. Paramount will also release THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN on Dec. 21 where it will face off with THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO.
In another recent move, Disney has decided to release Steven Spielberg's WAR HORSE on Christmas Day, Dec. 25 instead of that following Wednesday, Dec. 28 as previous announced. The WWI drama now takes on THE DARKEST HOUR and EXTREMELY LOUD & INCREDIBLY CLOSE.
