New Futurama Gets Syndication

Twentieth TV has signed a deal with Tribune operated TV stations to syndicate the new Comedy Central episodes of FUTURAMA on weekends, reports VARIETY. The episodes will start airing next fall.

Stations include WPIX New York, KTLA Los Angeles, WPHL Philadelphia, WDCW Washington, KIAH Houston and KDAF Dallas, as well as Weigel's independent WCIU in Chicago.

Tribune currently airs Twentieth's animated series AMERICAN DAD, FAMILY GUY and THE SIMPSONS.
