Paris, France -- Millimages has secured a number of new broadcast deals across Scandinavia for its hit children’s property Mouk with TV2 Denmark, TV2 Norway, MTV3 Finland and a DVD deal with Svensk.

The 62 x 11-minute animated preschool series, commissioned by France Télévisions and Disney Channel UK, has already been a huge success in the region on Disney and is now adding to its audience through these new terrestrial and home entertainment deals.

John Reynolds, Group Commercial Director at Millimages says: “Mouk is an inspirational and adventurous series which continues to capture the imagination of broadcasters worldwide. The show is already a hit across Scandinavia with the Disney audience and we are excited to be introducing Mouk to more kids in the region through these new deals.”

Mouk is already on air on ABC Australia, France 5, Disney Channels in the UK, Scandinavia, Spain, Eastern Europe and the Middle East and will roll out shortly on KiKA Germany, Disney Italy and Benelux, Disney Asia, ERT Estonia, RTV Slovenia and LTV Latvia.

Based on the work of Marc Boutavant and directed by François Narboux, the show revolves around Mouk and his buddy Chavapa, two globetrotters who explore the world on their bicycles.

From Ouagadougou to New York, from Australia to Madagascar and Greece, the two buddies discover the world and its inhabitants... and as everything's different from home, adventure is always at the end of the road!

Preschool viewers can join them as they discover new countries and the many wonderful things that inhabit these places. As they travel around the globe, they keep Popo, their home loving friend and his sister Mita, up to date with all the news of their travels.
