Lucasfilm is set to build a new facility in Singapore, reports Variety. The ever-expanding staff is currently at 400 and will soon outgrow its facilities at the Signature Building in Changi Business Park. The new facilities will house operations for LucasAnimation, LucasArts Games and Industrial Light & Magic.

The new location will be at the Fusionopolis area of One North, constructed above a public garden. It will occupy eight floors or around 409,000 square feet. Ground breaking will commence at the start of next year with completion is set for late 2012 or early 2013.
