Lionsgate has finally settled on a release date for the Joss Whedon-written horror film THE CABIN IN THE WOODS, reports ComingSoon.net. The studio will release the film on Friday, April 13, 2012. Producer Whedon co-wrote the script with director Drew Goddard, who wrote CLOVERFIELD.

Chris Hemsworth (THOR) stars as a young professional who goes to a cabin in the woods with his friends where they unlock a great evil.
