Jay Lichtman Joins MassMarket as Managing Director

Jay Lichtman has joined world-class visual effects studio MassMarket as Managing Director.

Bringing a wealth of production experience and industry know-how to MassMarket’s innovative team, Lichtman will further develop the company’s eight-year history of award-winning work. Lichtman will be overseeing the efforts of Executive Producers Elexis Stearn (Los Angeles) and Nancy Nina Huang (New York) in attracting top creative talent and clientele.

Lichtman joins MassMarket from Method Studios where as Executive Producer he ran the New York facility and oversaw campaigns for clients including McGarry Bowen, JWT, BBDO and Leo Burnett and collaborated on productions with the likes of MJZ, RSA, Believe Media, @Radial and Smuggler. Lichtman joined Method in 2010 from the UK’s MPC (Moving Picture Company). As Deputy Head of Production he was responsible for overseeing commercial production and project management on big-budget broadcast campaigns including those for Sony (Fallon UK), Toyota (Saatchi & Saatchi), Xbox (McCann), Stella Artois (Mother London) and Syfy (4 Creative).

Prior to MPC, Lichtman held the Executive Producer role at Brickyard VFX in Los Angeles where he launched the 3D animation department and managed the artist and production teams.

Before working at Brickyard, Lichtman was Head of Production at London’s award-winning Glassworks Ltd. where some of his more notable credits include Ivan Zacharias’ renowned Stella Artois “Pilot,” Bjork’s “Nature is Ancient” music video for LynnFox, Pepsi “Gladiator” for Tarsem and Adidas “Wake up Call” for Lance Acord.
