With the original still in production, Lionsgate has set a date for a HUNGER GAMES sequel, reports ComingSoon.net. Based on Suzanne Collins’ book CATCHING FIRE, the second film will hit theaters on Nov. 22, 2013.

Outside of the stars, whom might return behind the scenes is yet unknown. Gary Ross is directing the first in the series. Nina Jacobson's Color Force and Jon Kilik are producing. Alli Shearmur is shepherding for the studio.
