HIT Entertainment Appoints Michael Carrington
HIT Entertainment announced the appointment of Michael Carrington to the newly created position of Head of Content and Production, HIT Global Brands. This appointment further reinforces HIT’s commitment to remaining one of the greatest storytellers for pre-schoolers around the world, delivering exceptional content that is engaging, trusted and captures the hearts and imaginations of children.
Based in HIT’s London office, Michael will be responsible for enhancing HIT’s centre of excellence for content and development, reporting into Edward Catchpole. Marion Edwards will continue in her role as Executive Producer of HIT’s brands, reporting into Michael.
This talented production team will be responsible for developing all content for existing HIT brands as well as developing new properties.

Michael joins HIT from Turner Broadcasting where he headed up the EMEA kids content team. Previously, Michael was Controller of CBeebies and responsible for developing some of their most successful pre-school brands.
A date has yet to be announced for Michael’s arrival.
