London, UK -- HIT Entertainment announced its Hong Kong office has secured a raft of TV sales for 100 hours of programming to Asia, Australia and New Zealand for pre-school properties Mike the Knight, Thomas & Friends and Fireman Sam.

The hit CGI series that follows cheeky medieval character Mike the Knight will be charging onto screens in South East Asia and Hong Kong as Disney Junior snap up series 1 (52 x 12’) .

HIT Entertainment has also secured a deal for Thomas & Friends and Fireman Sam in Vietnam as HTV3 has signed the entire 16 series library of enduring kids’ favourite Thomas & Friends and series 1-8 of the fearless firefighter Fireman Sam.

Fireman Sam and Thomas & Friends are also heading down under as ABC Australia has acquired series 8 of Fireman Sam (20 x 10’) and the latest Thomas & Friends feature ‘Blue Mountain Mystery’ (1 x 60’).

And, across the Tasman Sea in New Zealand, TVNZ has acquired Mike the Knight and series 8 of Fireman Sam.  The deal will see TV2 air both Fireman Sam series (1-8) and Mike the Knight shows in early 2013.

Edward Catchpole, SVP HIT Entertainment said: “We’re delighted to announce these sales in Asia and Australasia.  Our prestigious broadcast partners prove the enduring appeal and appetite for our quality portfolio of pre-school programming across the globe, solidifying HIT’s position as one of the world’s greatest storytellers for children.”
