The prequel game, HALO: REACH, earned $200 million in its first day of release in the U.S. and Europe, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This makes the title the second biggest seller in the first 24 hours, behind CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 2's $310 million. DUTY, however, was a multi-platform release, while HALO is an Xbox exclusive. The previous HALO title earned $170 million in its first day.
