Georgia Renews, Arizona Drops Film Tax Credit

The Georgia Production Partnership's Government Relations Committee and Executive Board have announced that the state's 30% production tax credit has been renewed, reports Deadline.com. In January, Georgia's Special Council on Tax Reform and Fairness moved to ax the credit.

Meanwhile, Arizona has killed its production tax incentive. A state senate bill had been sent to the Commerce Committee, which sent it to the House Ways & Means committee, whose Republican head Jack Harper refused to introduce it.
