Fox Atomic, which closed shop in April, is being relaunched as Fox Digital Studios, Variety reports.

The former film unit will pair up with Madison Avenue to produce a series of original brand-backed projects for the Internet and other digital platforms, according to Variety.

David Worthen Brooks will serve as creative director of the digital division. The division hasn't disclosed any details about its first projects.
