Former Film Roman-ers Start Bento Box

Former Film Roman president/COO Scott Greenberg, SIMPSONS producer Joel Kuwahara and KING OF THE HILL producer Mark McJimsey have formed the new animation and live-action production company Bento Box Ent., reports VARIETY.

Former Film Roman president/COO Scott Greenberg, SIMPSONS producer Joel Kuwahara and KING OF THE HILL producer Mark McJimsey have formed the new animation and live-action production company Bento Box Ent., reports VARIETY. The new company's first production will be the TBS toon, NEIGHBORS FROM HELL, produced by 20th Century Fox TV and DreamWorks.

When Starz Media bought Film Roman in 2006, Greenberg took on duties at Starz Prods.

Kuwahara won an Emmy for his work on THE SIMPSONS. His other credits include animation line producer on THE SIMPSONS MOVIE and digital producer on THE GOODE FAMILY. He will be the supervising producer on NEIGHBORS.

McJimsey won an Emmy on KING OF THE HILL and also worked on GOODE FAMILY and CREATURE COMFORTS.

NEIGHBORS follows a family brought out of Hell to save Earth. Set to hit TBS in mid-2010, the show is exec produced by Jeffrey Katzenberg, Pam Brady and Mireille Soria.
