Foodfight Animated Feature Up for Auction
The long-in-the-works animated feature FOODFIGHT will be auctioned off on Monday, Sept. 26, 2011 at 10 am. Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, working via agent International Film Guarantors, is selling the film for an opening bid of $2.5 million. Producers C47 Prods. and Threshold Animation Studios lost the rights to the project after they defaulted on their loan. If they release Foodfight, it will be labelled one of the worst animated films ever made. It looks diabolical. Truly diabolical. The trailer is enough to make you want to stay far, far away from it.
So? What were the results? Did someone actually pay for that?
