FilmNation Ent. will fully fund an untitled post-apocalyptic thriller produced by PARANORMAL ACTIVITY director Oren Peli, reports Deadline.com. Set following a nuclear explosion, survivors try to make it on an Earth where the wilderness has started to reclaim the planet and strange creatures roam at night.

Peli devised the story and handed over screenwriting duties to Shane and Carey Van Dyke. Former Digital Domain vfx artist Bradley Parker will direct with Brian Witten also producing. The film stars Jonathan Sadowski, Devin Kelley, Jesse McCartney, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Nathan Phillips, Ingrid Bolso Berdal and Dimitry Diatchenko.
