Film Roman, Inc. has announced an agreement with Portland, Oregon-based animation house Mongadillo Studios to develop the original web cartoon SHAWKS into a television series. SHAWKS details the struggle of four eight year olds to rid the world of its most evil foe -- sharks masquerading as people. The group, which calls themselves "The Shawk Hater's Club," vigilantly fights these sharks that, according to the main character, Randy, "will not rest until they chew a hole in the delicate tapestry of our American way of life." The show was co-created by writer/voice actor Loren Hoskins, who provides the voice of Randy, and Ed Anderson, CEO of Mongadillo.
