London, UK -- Amberwood Entertainment is pleased to announce that it has appointed Entertainment One Family(eOne) as the international distributor of its upcoming holiday special The Magic Hockey Skates, being produced in association with the CBC.

Based on a book of the same name, The Magic Hockey Skates is a 2D animated primetime TV special. The story follows one young boy’s inspirational journey as he gains confidence and self-respect with a little help from a pair of magic skates.

The special is being produced by Amberwood with financial assistance from the Canada Media Fund.
