Dredd Sets Sites on 2012 Release Date
Lionsgate has selected a release date for DREDD, a new version of the JUDGE DREDD comic, reports Variety. The film will hit theaters on Sept. 21, 2012. Pete Travis (VANTAGE POINT) is the director.
The cast includes Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby and Lena Headey. Set in the futuristic megalopolis of Mega City One, Judge Dredd serves as police, judge, jury and executioner.
DNA Films' Andrew Macdonald, Allon Reich and Alex Garland, and Stuart Ford's IM Global are producing.
