Deadline.com reports that British anthropologist/author Desmond Morris told the BBC that musical fantasies, such as those from Walt Disney, could be good for child development. Morris stresses that its better for parents to sit and watch films such as CINDERELLA and ALICE IN WONDERLAND with their children than simply using the TV as a babysitter. These films are better for kids because of their musical and visual impact and pacing than overly "raucous" TV shows.
