Disney has brought on a trio of actors to join the cast of JOHN CARTER OF MARS, Heat Vision reports.

Thomas Haden Church, James Purefoy and Mark Strong have all joined on for Disney’s adaptation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs book series being directed by Andrew Stanton.

Church will play Tal Hajus, Purefoy plays Kantos Kan and Strong is Matai Shang. Willem Dafoe, Samantha Morton, Dominic West and Polly Walker are also involved in the project.
